Picture Sight Words Packs are designed to help the beginner reader see that a collection of letters work together to make words. The words used are labeling everyday or common objects that most children are familiar with. Each pack contains one set of four A5 cards and twenty-four picture sight word cards.  The picture sight word cards are the same size as a standard business card.  

The picture sight word cards have a picture and word on the front, which encourages children to use the pictorial cue to help them master the word. On the back, the word only appears. These packs encourage children to match the picture sight words to the A5 cards. The picture side can be used to match firstly, and as confidence with the words grows, children can match the word only side to the correct corresponding picture.
