About Born2Read

All Born2Read products have been devised by Katrina Casey, an expert in childhood reading - a teacher of 20 years whose experience includes time as a teacher, deputy principal and curriculum supervisor (primary schools).

Qualifications include:

1. Masters Degree in Education,
2. Bachelor Degree in Education, and
3. Diploma of Teaching.

Born2Read is a Queensland-based business that exists to assist children in reading.

“Children are born to READ!! Reading, like walking and talking is a natural process. Young readers are successful learners. Children who arrive at school already reading are off to a flying start!” says founder and teaching expert Katrina Casey.

All products have been written by highly qualified educators with over twenty years experience in Qld primary schools. These products have been trialled in Year One classrooms and by children as young as three years old.
