Welcome to Born 2 Read

As an educator for over twenty years, I am convinced more than ever, that the best time to teach children to read, is BEFORE they go to school!

Most parents are committed to helping their child learn to read, but they are unsure of what to do. At born2read we have designed products, especially to start you on your way to becoming the best reading teacher your child ever has!

Born2read also offers products to assist parents to teach their children to read whilst at school.

Born2read products are based on tried and true teaching practices. Born2read is not based on new, flashy ideas about reading. It is based on research and practical teaching experiences, and strategies that work when teaching children to read, such as sight words and phonics.

All born2read products include professional, easy to understand advice on the ways to use and enjoy them. Email support is also available.

Born2read products are designed for children to have FUN while learning to read. The products are bright, portable, and have been used by children as young as two and a half years old!

Some children arrive at school reading without much intervention from their parents - most don’t. Born2read would like to change this. With your help, we would like to see that situation reversed. We are passionately committed to sending most, if not all, children to school reading!! As parents, you can be a major part of this!
